Durability and Concrete Performance – Shashank Bishnoi
Shashank Bishnoi is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Delhi. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Kanpur, a Master’s degree from the University of Tokyo, and a PhD from Institute of Materials, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He has served as a post-doctoral fellow at Laval University, Canada and at EPFL, Switzerland.
His areas of research interest include experimental and numerical studies into hydration of cement and supplementary cementitious materials, sustainability, resource utilization, durability, repair and life-cycle costs of concrete structures.
